The P32-8
The New Phase IV Paint

 The P32-8s are numbered 500-519 - there are currently 18 in service. Built 1991 by GE they are geared for 100 - and weigh 258,000 lbs.

501 and 502 owned by California Department of Transportation; originally painted in "Pepsi Cans" scheme. Now painted to match California Cars and renumbered 2051 and 2052, respectively.

Today the "Pepsi Cans" are all repainted in the New Phase IV scheme.

This is the rear of the "ALKI TOURS SNOW TRAIN" which runs Saturdays and Sundays in December until the weekend before Christmas. It's an excursion train that runs from Seattle with stops at Edmonds and Everett to the Bavarian Style town at Leavenworth, WA in the morning, returning the same night.
